Fresno, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons announced today that the team raised more
$32,000 in Saturday night’s jersey auction. Falcons players wore special red,
white, and blue jerseys in that night’s game against the Long Beach Ice Dogs.
The jerseys were auctioned off following the game with all proceeds benefiting
the Central California Veterans Home Support Foundation.
"This total ranks as one of the top grossing jersey auctions in Fresno Falcons
history," Falcons CEO John Tull said. "We will be making the official donation
to the CCVHF in two weeks. Thanks to all of our loyal and generous fans for your
support. A special thanks goes out to Eye Q Vision Care, Big Country 102.7, the
Fresno Bee, and Comcast Cable for their support of the Rally Around Our Veterans
game last Saturday."
Thank You, Fresno Falcons
